Urgent repair work had to be carried out here the Dam Wall was breaking down which would have caused serious flooding. Work to repair and renew swims was also done which took a huge effort by the team and took over five weeks to complete it also saved the club a lot of money if it had to be sorted by outside company.

Lyne is fishing extremely well three figure overhaul weights being recorded in the matches.
